Gray Catbird (dumetella carolinesis)
Solitary trip to Lake Lochloosa today. It was great to get up there early and see so many birds. In pain much of the time but the birds kept my mind busy. The Great Horned Owl is still in the Eagles nest but didn't come out for a good portrait.
I've been in pursuit of the gray catbird for several weeks because of the blipbigyear challenge. I was fortunate today to see lots of them. To learn more about this one click here.
