Herbaceous Border

The last time we visited Arley Hall was the Saturday before lockdown, in March.

Today was the fourth time we have ventured out this week. We decided to go first thing, to minimise contact with other people. Getting in involved going through the shop, so face masks were worn.

It all worked fine. The gardens were looking good - and who doesn’t love a resplendent herbaceous border.

We are feeling our way as we contemplate emerging from the shielding world. There now appear to be three clubs. The “one metre plus” club. The “couldn’t care less” club. And the “It’s still two metres for us ” club. We remain firm members of the latter group, and it will stay that way.
