Plums

Thursday is a work day, and a busy day, as usual. John has been off doing work on the house so I did a few extra hours while he supervised the girls.

These are the plums growing in our garden. No idea what variety but assume they are edible. Before we moved in there was a rat problem in the garden (which our neighbour told us about before we moved in). He got a pest controller in who said that the problem was caused by this fruit tree and because the previous owner was unable to pick up the fruit as it fell (she was elderly and had become progressively disabled which is why she had to eventually move into a home). Lots of unripe fruit falls from the tree every day and I make sure I pick them all up incase it attracts them again!
