Time passes
I've often noticed this rather unusual sundial on the gable of a bungalow near to us. The dials around the edge are the signs of the zodiac. Today I remembered to take a picture! The same wording can be seen in various places around Scotland and sometimes continues - For time will still remain.
There's a19th Century sundial on the Meadows with the same wording. This one was keeping good time!
A busy day today I started with a 3k run then spent the rest of the day sorting out our sitting room to make room for a bed. Colin's mum is going to come down for a visit. She's 97 and we're less keen on her going upstairs now. The room is normally full of our office stuff and the children's toys. Looks good now though, we'll have some help to bring the bed and a bedside table down over the weekend. She'll be here next week, Colin is going up to get her on Sunday and will stay a couple of days to get used to her routine before coming back down.
We found time for a walk before dinner - which was a take away from the Indian restaurant, our second take away this week.... What a treat.
We're still staying away from people as much as we can, face masks are mandatory in indoor places where you come across other people as well as on transport now. I don't understand why some people don't want to wear them, and I don't mean those whose health would be compromised by wearing them, that I fully understand.
Keep safe everybody
