Washing George (Day 1891)
First on the to do list today was a trip to the wilds of Quoyloo to a new customer. It was a quicker visit than I had anticipated, leaving me with a bit of spare time.
I headed to the horses, where I found my beautiful wife getting organised to give George a bath. He was less than impressed, but didn't seem to mind having his big furry feet washed.
As HV took him back to the field, I got the van washed. Thankfully the trees have stopped dropping sticky goop on the van, but it was still fairly grubby.
Home for lunch then a walk with the woofers at Lyde where Talisker was too hot again and spent a fair bit of time getting as wet as possible in the burn.
A quick turnaround at home, then off to town to fit an electric shower, before clambering around in another customer's loft changing a float valve.
Tomorrow there will be more tinkering with the truck.
