RIP PP

Practical Photography magazine has folded - the last issue is upon the shelves. I'm surprised, since they used to feature me regularly in the seventies and eighties! I won several of their monthly competitions. Looking through my collection of old ones on my vanity shelf - they are remarkably 'focussed' on scantily clad young ladies. Even the adverts for cameras and film almost always involved nudity. Not that that influenced my reading material as a teenage photographer.

The magazine had become of late ridiculously expensive when weighed against content.
