Beetle

An early rise again - but no walk with Finlay. He went mad when I let him out in the garden first thing - he doesn’t like being cooped up with no exercise, so takes himself off. I hope he is not aggravating his injury. Might have to walk him about on a lead in the garden.

After breakfast some household chores followed by my walk. 9K steps in total, it was rather warm. Found this common red soldier beetle on some cow parsley. Positively glowing in the sunshine it was. Extra glowy in large :-)

Raining again after lunch so I shan’t be able to cut the grass today - shame.

Eagle image is still up on popular pages - reached number 6 - heady heights indeed.
