Walking the canal.....

It was good to be able to have a good walk this morning and fortunate that we were out early because straight after lunch the rain started again  -  but no matter, we at least had some respite from it.

I've been stocking up on lightbulbs today and the many different sorts of fittings and types is unbelievable;  in our house we have small LED spots, long life candle bulbs, with both small and large bayonet fittings. One lamp which needs a screw bayonet and long life (different sorts) for outside lights and for security lights. Not to mention small strip lights which sit under kitchen cupboards; I lost the will to live :-).
