Breakfast

Early morning coffee on the boat with my husband and my camera. A pair of loons has shared the lake with us for many years. Only once have I seen them with babies. The early morning calls and chatter bring joy to my heart. This one was alone diving for breakfast. Its mate was a ways down the lake. Extra 1 - the loon diving for more eats. Extra 2 - an osprey circling overhead. We were hoping to see it dive for breakfast as well, but it flew off without.

A great day of celebration of our countries' independence. Fireworks on the lake as usual - easy to socially distance when everyone is in a boat!
