What Twisted Trunk?
The building behind this twisted tree trunk is the old Archbishop's Palace in the Minster grounds, where Richard the Third (famously, he had a twisted spine) invested his son as Prince of Wales (see previous blip).
Read in today's Guardian:
"Rival claims to Richard the Third's body have erupted within 24 hours of the formal confirmation that the remains excavated from a scruffy car park in the centre of Leicester are indeed those of the last Plantagenet king. Leicester has him, but York wants him..."
"You, know, I'm a rather brilliant surgeon, perhaps I could help you with that hump."
"What hump?"
