Point of no return
Out for a walk on my usual route and at the halfway point some people turned up using a more difficult path. Dressed for what they thought was going to be a leisurely stroll along the beach, they should have turned around at least a mile back or, If they'd only waited another hour the tide would have receded and an easier path along the sand would have beckoned. But if they had, they would have been soaked in the downpour that followed soon after their escape and return to Kinghorn. (Extra)
I'm sure the next time one or two of them will think twice about it when someone suggest a wee stroll along the beach....
