More Happy Faces in the Garden

Dear Diary,

Our weather has turned tropical with high heat and oppressive humidity; the dreaded 3 H's...hazy, hot and humid.  It makes me wilt but the flowers are so happy.  A tropical storm will bring heavy rain tomorrow.  We need the rain but I worry so for Momma Robin and her nest. 

I have found someone who can repair my old Singer sewing machine.  It is 51 years old and like a dear friend.  I will bring her to him today and, fingers crossed, in a week or so she will be home ready for some sewing projects!  I love to hand sew but some projects are a whole lot easier with a sewing machine!
