Bags clipped a kerb in the snow today and burst the side wall of the tyre.
No problem there really.
I went to change it for her and found that the key for the locking wheelnuts has been damaged (I think it has been done by somebody using an airgun).
Considering they have never had a tyre changed and the car only had 7000 miles when they bought it less than a year ago she was none too pleased so phoned the salesroom.
It turns out there should be a code number for the key in its box so they could order a new one.
There wasn't.
They can't do anything then!
The suggestion was "take it to a garage and have them change the wheel".
Again .... do-able - but at a cost.
That cost would obviously be reimbursed by the saleroom? (this is a very big firm with a good name in aftercare) - since they have technically sold the car in manner which is not fit for purpose.
"I will get back to you about that ..... yes - today"
He didn't ....... even after a second call to the office.
So tomorrow the managing director will get a call.
The Cygnet had a great afternoon playing in a great big cardboard box.
It was a house ..... and a train ...... and various other things.
It id great the way a kids imagination can take them to other places and worlds (even at his age).
