"It said Buzzzzz.
…and that was aw".
It's not "on a waw" it's on an Astrantia. Spoilt for choice today.
Thursday is habitually Jerraday and, currently, weather permitting, we sit and gurn at one another put the world to rights; taking the odd "wander and click" from time to time alternately "shooting Starlings"; they being common as muck here and rare as rocking horse manure where Jerra lives. (a whole 4-5 miles away as the fly crows)
The Bee appears to be a Bombus Hypnorum, or tree bumblebee. I can't vouch for it being the same Bee, but I think it's the same type that stuck its nose into the nest box round at the front
"Wooden chew" think, maybe Bombus Arborum might be nearer the mark; or "Entranced Bumblebee".
THINK about it
;¬)
BTW - Those aren't micro bats hanging there; they're dried up Sarcococca berries.
I spent some time "worriting" about that white glare, then realised that, like my baldy heid it was reflection from its "eyeball".
