Rain or mud, or both!

Poured with rain all day, again - but as Zion said at least the plants will grow. And didn’t stop us having fun outdoors - even I joined in jumping in puddles - much to some people’s amusement down Newhall - although very few other people out - another perk when trying to social distance, I guess!

All three of us enjoyed a deep hot bath when we got in! At what age does it become unacceptable to be in the bath with your kids?

We had a lesson on our solar system this morning - Zion enjoyed the national geographic informative video, Allegra likes the song about the planets - could have predicted that! Began making papier-mâché planets - but is a lot more work than I’d realised... slightly regretting that decision! Plus - although the kids we’re fine getting covered in mud , they were extremely averse to having flour and water all over their hands - so much so that in the end I was left doing that part while they ripped the newspaper!
