Unexpected

A dull day, slightly drizzly this afternoon.

This morning I did the ironing, phoned a couple of people, drove to the local station to collect tickets for tomorrow's trip to London, did a short walk by the river and came home for lunch. Went for a walk down the lane after lunch.  Took the blip on this walk, there was a lump of cement dumped at the side of the lane, with bits of brick, slate etc in it.  Extra was taken earlier when I walked by the River Thames, a big container ship in the distance.

This afternoon S and a friend came round for a cuppa and chat and then we walked down to the church.
