Shasta Daisy

The walled garden at Kellie Castle was open today so not wanting to miss an opportunity L and I headed there today. The castle itself, a National Trust Property, wasn't open but that didn't matter.

The gardeners had worked hard keeping the flower beds neat and tidy. While L and I were wandering round we had the garden to ourselves. 

Dozens of very busy bees but not a butterfly to be seen. Plenty of flowers though so we were not disappointed.
