Martin Mere WWT

We went to the Martin Mere wetlands trust today.  It's our first time back since lockdown and I was very impressed with their new set up.  Plenty of hand sanitisers, a one way system, an outdoor kiosk instead of the normal cafe and number restrictions on all the hides.

I think the main photo is a wood mouse (but I could be wrong). It's not the best of photos as it was very overcast so it's a bit grainy but I thought he was very cute and wanted him in my journal. Couple of extras of some colourful cinnabar caterpillars and 3 juvenile goldfinches lined up on a branch waiting to be fed.
