Blue Tits Nest

Some time back I mentioned that there was blue tit activity in the nesting box. All such ins and outs ceased about ten days ago so I took a peek. One egg left behind plus a very dead chick which had developed enough to have feathers. I can only guess that the nest was abandoned because they had no way of dumping the corpse but blue tits lay as many as a dozen eggs so hopefully they managed to fledge a few.
