Ramblings from Zambia....

lockdown....

While here in Lusaka we are not in lockdown, because schools are not open I am home most of the time and its can get pretty boring sometimes!  I can only do a limited amount of work at home as most of my job is interacting with both teachers and children.

Of course restaurants are open so I could go out but in the climate of 'there is no covid-19 in Zambia', I am not really confident to do so!  We had an update a couple of days ago and the health minister said that a good indication of how covid - 19 is spreading is by the number of dead bodies being brought to hospital.  He said that in the last 6 months comparing to last year the number has more than doubled and most of them in the past few weeks!  So...better to stay home and feel locked in I reckon!
