We're facing some last minute red tape problems regarding the couple's travel plans. Believe it or not, a plain marriage certificate may still not be enough to convince the border police to let Fumiko in, apparently it also may need to be certified by the Dutch Embassy and that only after it's been certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singapore. And the authorities apparently don't have time to do that in July (there are general elections in Singapore tomorrow). I have so had it with idiot rules and regulations. Time is running out, in three weeks time Fumiko won't be able to fly any more. And what more can immigration want, after forcing the couple to have this scanty wedding ceremony just to let them travel and stay together !

So very angry and annoyed !
