Can't see the wood...

...for the trees...

I love this stretch of the River Almond walkway. I love trees and their structures - they are so varied. This is a little stretch of young, but very tall, trees and I was fascinated by the shapes the trunks made.

It was lovely to get out for a walk again after a couple of busy and slightly stressful days. On Sunday morning my smartphone popped out of my back pocket and disappeared into the toilet. Aaaargh! RIP nice phone. Mid-way through the contract I had to find a way of replacing it without holding up a Securicor van. I ended up having to buy a new handset which isn't quite as good as my old one, but I'll no doubt get used to it and it will do until my contract ends. An expense I could have done without. The worst thing is not being able to blame anyone else!!! It is entirely my own silly fault, though I take some comfort in discovering that I am not the only numpte out there!! With the phone now set up and most of my contacts restored I can get back to important things like blipping and commenting, though it may take me a little time to catch up again!
