Home Part 1 -I Shall Miss the Tree

I want to start a series of blips that focus on my home because I will be moving in a month or so and I want to be able to remember some of my life here. Kind of sad when you think about it...

This picture is what I saw as soon as I got out of my car and started walking down the footpath. It was about 7:15pm and the sun hit the leaves just nicely.

That tree has become quite tall since we planted it ten years ago. It's gorgeous golden leaves were so lovely to look at in summer and the branches in autumn and winter have always struck me as haunting. I guess it reminds me of one of those trees from The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe -spooky but fully alive and aware.
