Vikram with a menu!

I have two weeks off - pre booked and was told I needed to take them - so we are walking the South Downs Way over 9 days. Today we got the mini serviced,  picked up a second car and at the end of the day drove to Alfriston in Sussex to spend the first night in a hotel since lockdown.   Beautiful village, old hotel and nice garden we enjoyed dinner outside.  It was both liberating and slightly scary.  The staff were so nice and obviously relieved to have the hotel open.  Although with floods early in the year, a construction project and now this they are obviously worried about the longer term.
