Parish Pumps of St. Peter Port #7
Day 7 of my St Peter Port pump blip series, the pumps just keep on coming!
This pump is in Trinity Square, and in contrast to yesterday's plain "black box" pump this one is a fine example with a granite trough.
The pump itself is very similar in design to the one just up the road at the junction of La Rue du Pre and Park St. (Pump Blip No 3).
In the background is Trinity Church, so the pump would have been handy for baptisms, if that's what they do in that particular church.
There are about 20 pumps around the Town and I have set myself the trainspotterish task of blipping them all in a row - you have been warned. Tune in tomorrow for the next St Peter Port pump!
Thanks to Village Pumps for doing it first and saving me getting an old parchment map out from the Priaulx library.
