Who Me?

This lovely bird is an Upland Sandpiper, who was called a Plover until 1973.  Bizarre...  What is remarkable is that it migrates from the southern half of South America. Crazy amount of miles to cover to come up here to breed. I was very excited to see two, on two separate fence posts, calling to each other.  Sweet....

It was a long day driving and walking in the heat....but so worth it.
