Summer Grasses

Another scorcher, seems we're in for a hot July. Wandered along the inlet in the evening when it cooled a touch. I liked the sunlit grass set against the darker bank opposite. I further increased separation between the two by using a shallow depth of field. I also liked that the bright foreground grass is echoed by a patch in the distance beyond the trees. It helps to move the eye through the frame and creates depth in the image.
