Moving da Pilot Us

A sunny morning in Scalloway, headed to Lerwick, cloudy and then heavy rain.  It cleared by lunchtime, and a beautiful sunny day.  Clouded over late evening.

Another day with my vacuum cleaner, and busy cleaning in the museum.  Also had to remove my desk, leaving me desk-less again.  Big Brian and Madeline came over for a barbecue for tea. Peerie Brian put on a new propeller on the boat this morning, and full steam ahead.  It's a makeshift one, but managed to get out for a run on the boat and to the isles.  Feet up now.

I got a break from cleaning, when I was asked to help shift the Pilot Us LK 271, from one side of the dock to the other.  It was using ropes and man power to do the job.  The old fishing boat is in need of a lot of work, and sadly that all costs.  A Trust would need to be set up for her.  Where we moved her is the last resting place of the Nil Desperandum, and hope the Pilot Us doesn't go the same way.  Helping L-R - Brian ?, Roger Sinclair, Peter Fraser, Laurence Smith, Arnold ?, Colin Balfour, Alan ? And Alexis ?.  Taken at Hay's Dock, Lerwick.
