Dallington Dawn

I had a good sleep and feel just about over the jetlag. I woke early and watched the light grow stronger, then grabbed this image through a briefly opened window as the sun rose.

A blue sky morning - perfect. But when I stepped outdoors I could hardly believe how strong and icy the wind was! I guess I have some adjusting to do.

By mid-afternoon it was snowing a blizzard which thankfully didn't settle. I have my winter clothes ready - all that's needed now is the courage to brave the outdoors!
