Diary Blip (Wednesday 8th July 2020)
Another rainy day meant the postponement of Woody Wednesday and the roofers having to concentrate their efforts on repairing the loft. This also meant I had to stay in again. The good news is that unless the new plywood needs a third coat of paint the indoor work is complete, the roof is no longer at risk of collapse and is far better insulated.
There is still a lot of exterior work to be done, at an eye-watering cost! Apparently the damage was caught in the nick of time.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Lisa Germano - Into oblivion (2006)
I was hunkered down in the conservatory for most of the day to avoid the worst of the noise, with not much to do apart from listen to the radio, play CDs and read the next Mojo (February 2013). The CD was called Marr And Friends and showed the great range of work by Johnny Marr, who of course came to prominence in the Smiths, and has now outlived Morrissey in terms of popularity and creative output. All but two of the15 tracks feature Johnny Marr's guitar work (also occasionally keyboards, bass guitar and harmonica). I already had Lisa Germano's album In The Maybe World from which this comes, but it was great to hear it again in this context.
