"Porch Stories"
The widest angle lens that I own is on my iPhone 11 Pro, which is what I have used here. Obviously I am not a real estate photographer. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
We experienced a terrible loss in our family last Thursday. Our beloved Annette passed away. It was not unexpected as she had received a fatal diagnosis in late December but we were still not prepared for how it would roll over us. We were only able to attend her funeral via Zoom on Sunday which left us feeling very detached and quite drained. Our home is filled with many reminders of her as she was very generous. We find these reminders very comforting.
This is the screened porch that we added to our house in 2013. During this pandemic, it has become an outdoor refuge for us. We spend many hours out here reading, talking, having coffee, meals, happy hour, etc. We are very grateful for it. Over the last few days, we have spent a lot of time here reminiscing about Annette. She had a very long and happy life of 85 years and we were so happy to be part of it. We will miss her terribly.
This is my entry for the Wide Angle Wednesday challenge of Movie Titles. There actually was a movie in 2014 called Porch Stories so I think this fits the bill. Many thanks to Rock Area for hosting this week.
