House with a view

We did an extra meal delivery today although only five meals. The last one covered some distance to a lovely elderly gentleman who along with his now deceased wife planned and literally built their house on a hill backed into a rock. I have not seen it before and today only from the outside, what an achievement. They were both architects and had this dream to build such a place but couldn’t find the right area until this plot came along. It was an interesting and wonderful few minutes chatting and looking over this fabulous view.

It didn’t feel right to take a photo on the first visit, I thought the view would give some idea of what he will see from the glass fronted building.

Extra’s: well we sat open mouthed as these sheep walked daintily through the cattle grid or skipped over it, it wasn’t deep enough to deter them and their hefted knowledge told them this. We drove home the long way having stopped for a picnic along the way and looked down onto the green water in Calgary bay.
