This that time of the year when your neighbours give you six kilos of sour cherries because their trees are laden with them and it's a shame to waste them. So we are going to stone them, cover with sugar for a week and then add some 95% pure spirit and some water to soak in for a few weeks and create a nalewka - sour cherry strong vodka which will mature in time for the cold winter nights.
