It continues, as does the cycling. A cracking ride out East with a tailwind on the way home - to be cherished, it really does not happen very often. If it wasn't for having to stop at three different sets of temporary roadworks on the run-in (plus an extra stop at Duddingston crossroads to check some phone thing) then I would certainly have knocked a sizeable chunk off my Aberlady-Commie Pool PB. There is some technical explanation on Strava about how and why 'resting time' is included in segment time but isn't in overall ride time but really...I can't be arsed with all that, it could drive you crazy,  just have to do it again on another day.
