Lightbulb Moment

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

We have been watching Money Heist on Netflix. It’s hard to find something that we all want to watch but we LOVE this programme.

It’s In Spanish and a few months ago, I wouldn’t have considered it. I was watching Criminal and when it changed to the French episodes, I mentioned to The Eldest Mini Princess that I couldn’t watch them because they were dubbed. My OCD brain cannot cope with dubbed programmes. It fries when the speech pattern doesn’t match the mouth movements. (I have the same issue if the audio and video get even slightly out of sync).

EMP looked at me quizzically, “Just change the settings.” And in the blink of an eye, she had changed the default setting to subtitles.

It was a proper old person moment. It’s a good thing I’m not in the office at the moment. If I admitted this transgression to my fellow IT colleagues, they’d start shouting ‘unclean’ whenever they saw me.
