Steam juicer

Roast lamb dinner for fourteen tonight. A leg and a rump. Plus tofu for Megan.

Start by making mint jelly, the traditional way. George shows off her steam juicer, which would have removed the need for straining. Tempted.

The lamb is great. Moist, tender, garlicky. Roast potatoes, candied carrots, steamed chard, peas, bread beans. The mint is more like treacle than jelly - I boiled it too long.
