Playdoh
No 3 decided to dig out the playdoh box this morning.
Before she was let loose on it I had to check and remove all the boxes of hard crusty playdoh... that only left a few small tubs.
When No 3 was at nursery they used to make their own playdoh from a mixture of flour and salt - and cooked in their special pot reserved for the purpose (you don't want to be using a pot you want to cook with after).
They had to make loads, as it was taken home stuck to bottoms of kids shoes, and had a tendency to get eaten !
When I was little you were given packets of Plastecine in a rainbow of colours. But if you rolled it together it ended up a jobby brown colour !
A great uncle who was a baker showed us how to make little flowers and fruits.
We would make tray loads of jobby coloured roses and peaches (excuse the weegie slang!).
