Cobra

This flat leaf was racing pell-mell down the beach - it stood on edge, it floated horizontally flat out like an UFO (but with a shadow), it tumbled and went airborne,  it balanced perfectly upright on its stem, snagged its edge and rose back up again  . . .    and then it ran out of wind and rested flat on the beach  . . .  and the very next wave took it  . . .    it should be in the circus!


Lots of interesting surfer shots today, but this leaf needed its 15 seconds of fame.   I really liked how long it was able to avoid the waves.   And to the right, it looks like this little wave was mirroring back.       ;- )
