When is a Velodrome not a Velodrome?

Answer - when its "official" name is the Emirates Arena...except no-one has told any taxi drivers in Glasgow than yet. Hence, blank stares until you say "You know, the new Velodrome?" Then endure 10 minutes of chat about why you should have just said that in the first place.

All fine. Except you have to repeat the process - in reverse - on the return journey...

However, the Velodrome is AMAZING. My first visit and it's nothing short of immense. Incredible to see the effects of all the regeneration from the Commonwealth Games 2014 in that part of town. It felt very "real" all of a sudden!
