Back to the blue

I decided to start the February Challenge a few days late - reading the challenge for today, I knew exactly what it was going to be. I used to be a scuba diver in the late 90s until about 2002, first it was recreational all over the Aegean where I lived back then, and then back in Germany did some dives with the military, mapping as well as some recovery - I was ready to make diving my career, but then things went a different way and I haven't been down in the deep for more than 10 years.

Hence, one of my life goals (as you should have more than one!) is getting back in the wetsuit and maybe even doing my Instructor someday. Fitness level and confidence issues have stopped me in the last few years, but one may dream! The photo depicts a lucky charm my Godfather, who I did many dives with, gave to me in the late 90s for passing my Advanced course.
