Snowflake on The Water
Spent an enjoyable couple of hours at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens this morn. C took all three dogs for a fun walk in some 'secret wild' area. It was a nice break for me! Got caught in a rather intense rainfall, thankfully made it to a small shelter where I sat listening to a chorus of frogs and toads until the rain eased up. This sweet little thing is a bloom on the Snowflake Plant (a water lily type of aquatic plant) Nymphoides indica. It's a member of the Menyanthaceae family, with it's range indicated as 'Pantropical'.
Peace and Good Health to you and the one's you love. :)
