Broccoli Bouquet

It’s true love when someone hands you a bouquet of fresh broccoli. Not just one head, or two, not even three heads, but four jurassic-sized ones? Yep, you know it’s over. The bouquet is so big a soup pot is needed to hold them together, for carrying them and giving them to you. How can you resist? It’s better than a diamond ring! Of course I said Yes!! • We harvested half of our plants today, probably should have done it yesterday because of the hints of yellow on top. We’ll be planting again to harvest more in the Fall • This is our favorite vegetable, and it can be prepared in so many ways - in slaw, raw with dip, soup, roasted, in quiche or eggs, steamed, stir fried, casserole, and we eat them all but our favorite is just boiled, or cooked with pasta, with vegan butter and salt and pepper.
