Pleasure boat
Today we walked from the Recreation Ground opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatre along the River Avon. Following the riverside walk past the Holy Trinity church and under the Seven Meadows road bridge and continued on through wooded area high above the river until we reached the disused Stannells train bridge which we crossed to take us to the other side of the river.
From there we walked along the Greenway to the side of Stratford race course and ended up back in the town after walking through the Holy Trinity graveyard and theatre gardens,
Only one or two boats on the river including the one in the picture and as you can see just a few people on it. Generally the town is still very quiet and you can't blame people being apprehensive about everything.
We did call into Hoorays ice cream parlor in High Street where I had a Eton Mess in a tub and J had a rather large Banoffee Waffle dish. No wonder she is doing her online Zumba class whilst I'm doing this!
