Back to walking, but without the bus.
It was great to meet up with the Bus Pass Walkers once again.
Of course no busses, but we drove over to meet up with them for a walk round Bingley, St Ives.
We were surprised how quiet the roads were, especially through Bradford.
We were lucky that it stayed mostly dry.
Walked up to Druid’s Altar, which is where I took the group photo.
Then finished off with bacon sandwiches and coffee sat outside the Ivy Kitchen Cafe.
Very well organised. The girls were working hard. It just started drizzling, but we managed to get two tables underneath the sun umbrellas. They are good to keep the rain off too!
Walking back to the car we stopped off at Coppice Pond.
In the collage you can see Mrs duck and her ducklings, as well as Mr/Mrs Canada Goose, standing on one leg for a rest.
Also saw the cygnets, which are now quite grown up.
Quite surprised to see one of Robin Hoods Merry men!
Just practicing!
It was so good to see everyone in person after zooming for a few weeks.
Let’s hope this is the start of getting back to normal, although I think it will be a while before we are back to catching busses again.
Many thanks C for organising it.
We certainly enjoyed everyone’s company.
