Sourdough
Today’s was the second bake this week as I want to take some sourdough bread over to France. I keep changing the mixes but then can never remember exactly the combinations I used the previous time so all the loaves are a little different. This one was 50% white, 30% four grain, 10% wholemeal and 10% spelt. Our village in France is fine for baguettes and standard loaves but good sourdough bread is only available once a week at the market so I’d like to take some bread with me. The afternoon turned out very wet which made unpacking a large pallet of food from a local factory more difficult. Nevertheless, it got done and we all shared a lemon drizzle cake that Mrs TT made to thank all those who have been helping for the last three months.
