Friends

Today my wildlings and myself got to spend time outdoors with all our friends. 10 wildlings in total and 4adults. Some wildlings walked, some rollerblades and some cycled. And then harp and Carson were in the buggy. We all went about two miles and had a picnic. It's lovely that children can play together again . I think it's been quite difficult that they have missed their little friend's.
At one point while playing on the green, Xander came off his bike and scrapes his face and bumped near his eye. It was a hard one. ( Thank goodness for helmet's) . He was so upset and he gets embarrassed easily. But my friend Kelly is amazing and has worked with children like Xander for many years, she knows he loves bubble's and well thankfully she had a few set's in her backpack. This helped distract him and settle him.
A couple of the other wildlings that were there have autism and additional needs. It's just great to be able to be around friends that ' get it' and all the wildlings are great with each other too.
I have missed social interaction so much throughout these last four months, so I treasure days like today . X
