Final resting place.

Life goes on. Yesterday we celebrated a grandsons birthday and today 3 of us were putting a headstone on a friends grave. Tom died before Christmas  and is buried in the little local cemetery. He had wanted a local pice of limestone as a headstone and it was my job to organise this . First we had to go to a quarry where we managed to lever the heavy rock onto my trailer with crowbars. Phew ! Then at the cemetery we did have a tractor to cart to the site and then manpower did the rest. It is now secured in place with a couple of metal stakes and some concrete. I hope it doesn't fall over in the squally weather we are having !
