Happy birthday Hubs. He had his daughter and grandson for the weekend which was the best present. Liz joined us for brunch, then we went to Lough Boora sculpture park for the afternoon , which went down a storm with everyone, rain mostly held off. Hubs just can’t resist a climb or two, neither could anyone else , but here’s the old boy showing he still has a few moves.
Drake ran around squeaking with delight , the dog went for 2 swims and we rounded off with our first trip to a cafe in 4 months - outside , tables all socially distanced and everything being scrupulously cleaned in between users , yet it still felt weird being near other people . Great hot choc tho.
Home for home made veggie burgers and birthday date slice cake decorated with us all ‘in lego‘ . Late night cap and a quiz. A very happy day.
