Hail Mary

Another walk to work, but now in Stamford, CT.

I pass by this statue of Our Lady every day. I have seen her in all seasons. Spring flowers around her feet, radiant on a Summer's night, unflinching despite Autumn leaves flailing their arms. I have even seen her covered in snow.

The rectory dates from the 1860's. It's so lovely to see this kind of building in this part of Stamford.

A little oasis of calm.
