Details, details, details

The pond will have disappeared by the middle of May. The trees form a perfect canopy and with luck the herons will be nesting there. In the meantime i have to stay away so as not to scare the parent herons away.

I love the details in this photograph. Even without the herons it's a secret place and very atmospheric.
